How do I restart my computer totally Apple iMac? I really need help!?
Computer Description: I want to restart my computer. The tower is built so that it is just the size of a monitor. The mouse has a clicker and keyboard is normal. They both connect to the computer side of things with USB. There are integrated speakers on the right and left. I just want to know how to do return to factory settings. Like if I just got it in the store. Like that. How to completely erase everything off of my I MAC APPLE COMPUTER ????? If please tell me how to fix it. PLEASE! I live about 6 hours drive from the Apple Store nearest! It's called Mac G3. I need the info out of it. Or, just tell me how to make a new password to the internet without knowing the old password! boot your iMac From the DVD system and once there you can run Disk Utility from the menu. From Disk Utility you can not erase only hard drive, but you can choose to write all zeros. Doing this will remove all traces of your data. But it will take some time, depending the size of your disk.
