There are two different Macbook there: One with miniDisplayPort and one with MiniDV. To buy the right adapter, you must find what MacBook you got. If you have the Macbook MiniDV, you must purchase the miniDV-to-DVI and a DVI-to-HDMI cable. You can use these to connect your MacBook to miniDV HDMI port on your HDTV RCA. If you have the Macbook miniDisplayPort, you must purchase a miniDisplayPort-to-HDMI adapter and AA standard HDMI cable. Remember MiniDV and miniDisplayPort are two completely different things and are not compatible. MacBook and learn what you got if you do not buy the wrong adapter. Hope this helps.
