dual-core processor or i5 for the MacBook Pro?
As of now I have a macbook, 2008 and would like an update. I'll be running Adobe Prima Pro and Photoshop CS5 CS5. I am a student and just wondering if the Core i5 is necessary for these programs. Thanks
Adobe Photoshop is a program loves of four cores on a Adobe CS4 reference Retouching artist called the Intel Core i5/i7 quad-core is around 80% faster than dual-core clock for the clock. Just get the best you can afford for the sake of future proof, or you can look to upgrade again in the next year. Yes, two cores are good at the moment but that could be next January? One thing is to spend an extra $ 50 or $ 100 to jump from a dual-core a quad-core. It's another thing to spend the extra $ 50 to $ 100 for something that is a faster 100MHz processor with hyperthreading.

Is there a 13-inch MacBook Pro with the upcoming Core i7 i5?
I intend to get a MacBook Pro I reviewed the Apple website and I would get the 13-inch MacBook Pro, but only in Core 2 Duo .. I would really like to get the latest processor available .. So, I wonder if all future 13-inch MacBook Pro Core i7 i5? If yes, when I can expect to be released? From my research I found that WFP is updated twice in 2008. But of course I can not say whether they will be updated again this year. I want to do now. But do you think is impossible cos to get a 13 inch Core 2 Duo? May soon become obsolete.
updates MacBook Pro 13-inch last month, do not expect another update this year. In addition, a few days ago, the unibody MacBook White has also been improved with longer Core 2 Duo. Personally, I recommend getting the WFP, due to aluminum, but not worth a few hundred dollars.
