macbook icons disappeared
My volume control icon disappeared from my macbook pro?
…. And I can not even turn up the volume, although I use the volume keys. I know the sound works because i can hear the intro block noise when turned on – what have I done !?!?!?!?!
Go to control panel, select "Sound" and check the settings. Select "Sound Effects" at the top and bottom of the window, select "show the volume in the menu bar "and bring it back to your menu desktop.Good luck!

My MacBook has been abandoned and now the sidebar is moving office?
My daughter dropped my laptop, it really sympathized … anyway, now the sidebar of my office that had all my Safari, Firefox, iTunes icon on it, etc. is in and out. If I move the mouse to the left of the screen, which comes out of hiding, but disappears again. I know there's a way to hide / show, but can not not find it. HELP!
